IGT S and S-plus Reel Games / Re: igt s plus stuck on code 41« Last post by dragonsden on Today at 07:02:16 pm »Check where the reels plug in. Look for a pin either bent, slightly pushed in, etc. I would say verify optics on reels are good and clean but if you swapped ALL the reels at the same time, that probably isn't the issue. May also check the wiring harnesses going to the reels to make sure nothing going on there. No expert here but those are some of the things I was advised to check when I had a similar issue.

Is there any corrosion on the backplane? 5

IGT S and S-plus Reel Games / Re: How to get correct reel strip for S+ RWB« Last post by Kfrankie on Today at 04:00:45 pm »ABC strips are 2600, 2700 and 2800 Thanks Jim. Out of curiosity, how is it that a few vendors like K-LAR have such a wide inventory of products like reel strips? There’s literally thousands of different varieties out there. I’m guessing that IGT doesn’t make these anymore, so are the vendors creating these things themselves? I can’t imagine they have a stockpiled bunch over the course of the last 30 years in a closet somewhere. Same with reel chips and game chips. I can understand copying the ones you already have, but how do they have such a wide inventory? Just copy the chips every time they run across one? Does IGT even manufacture/sell any parts related to the S+ era of machines any longer? 9

ABD strips are 2600, 2700 and 2900 Check with KLAR, they should have the strips you need. Jim 10
