Bally S6000 with Error Code 32

Hello!  Great site!  First time poster.


I have a Bally S6000 that has been working fine for the past 2 years and now has a problem. Nothing has changed in that time.  Here is the setup:

• Bill Acceptor installed
• Ticket out printer
• NO hopper (I have it jumpered, seee picture)

The problem started a few days ago.  I place a $5 in and it accepted fine.  Credits were added, but then it gave an error 32 code.  I restarted the machine but it still gave the same error 32 code.  I see that the code is a hopper empty code, but I have the jumpers in place.  So the first thing I did was to replace the jumpers.  No dice, I still have the error.


So, I am at a loss at what to check next.  Any ideas?

Is the type of error that can occur if the battery has run down or gone bad, causing some settings to get lost or corrupted? Can you verify the battery voltage is ok?

If battery is OK do a partial clear.

Bingo.  That was it.  I changed the battery.  Did a Complete Clear, reloaded all my settings and now it works perfect again.  Thanks for the help on this!
