Problems booting up after switching to 044 from 3902

Hello I have a Game King Panda Cabinet and I was running MOOOO837 on a 3902 board. I then purchased a 044 board with GK 6.4 flashed on it and the motherboard. Got everything installed I power it up while holding test switch get to the menu screen go to options uncheck the dsc boxes then restart the machine get to the menu again select keychip menu select non wap screen pops up asking to verify non wap select yes now I have the option of restart or back select restart and nothing. I can press it 10,20x and nothing I can’t select anything at that point and that is where I’m stuck. Any help who be greatly appreciated

Your monitor likely has settings in the menu for 3902, 044, AVP. Check that setting and calibrate the touch screen before doing anything else to see if that helps. Sounds like the touch screen is not responsive. Reseat the monitor as well to make sure it has a good connection. Do that only with the power off.

Thanks for the reply RB yes I opened the menu on the monitor and had to change the setting from 3902 to 044. I will checkout the calibration settings hopefully that’s all it is.

Turn the jackpot rest key twice to bring up the calibration screen.

Hey RB, I got to the calibration screen like you suggested and everything seemed to be okay there. I have a second game king also with a 044 board installed in it that runs perfectly no issues at all, so I put the problem board in it and was able to install and setup. Turns out after close inspection the motherboard had some trace damage on the back of it. I have ordered another motherboard and should receive it in a few days. I will update the post after installing the new one.

Turns out the motherboard had some bad traces on the backside installed a new one and all is well in the universe. Thank you RB and anyone else who responded for your time and effort.
