So I picked up this machine from another member.  I know There is little to no parts available out there but I figured what the heck.  He said wit worked till one day he turned it on and poof of smoke then nothing.  After looking over some things it turns on and the lights come on but nothing else.  I pulled apart the main boards and after a visual inspection this is what I found.  Could this one thing affect everything?  Is it a possibility that replacing the part would be the fix or is it more likely that something else being bad caused this parts failure.  Is there anywhere to find this board?

So I was able to find the mentioned chip and I replaced it.  Nothing changed.  I don'tty think Finding replacement boards is gonna be helpful so I will have to start going through things individually and checking what I know hoe to.

So it has been 3 years. I decided to pull this thing back out and see if I can make any progress before I throw in the towel.  Anyone have any advice?
