Double Diamond Reel Strip Coming Loose

Good morning, This morning I was playing on my IGT s2000 Double Diamond slot machine and I noticed that the tape that holds the ends of the reel together is coming loose on reel 3, Any recommendations to re-strengthen the tape holding the reel together? I want to keep the reel basket inside the slot machine, thank you :)

I've replaced tape on mine in the machine. I use the 3m double sided tape from the store. Peel the edge out, remove the old tape and take a piece and place it back on the strip. Push it firmly into the remaining side of the reel strip. The side staying in should be in the notches in the basket so you can just snap the loose side back in.

As Shaggy mentioned USE 3M BRAND. A lot of the double sided tape is cheap and will not stick well.
