Hi Gentlemen, i was wanting to adjust my percentage pay out, on my IGT s2000 triple double star 5 line dollar slot machine. i was curious as to what would be the correct chip  to get this done? Any information would be appreciated. Seems i can't find any info on this slot for some reason. As always, thanks fellas for any information on the percent payout of this machine. :Scratch-Head:

If you want to see what % your machine is set at now, do the following, you can leave door closed:

turn jackpot key one time
press spin button one time
press cash out 4 times
press spin 2 times
press cash out 6 times

payback % will scroll across vfd display

press max bet a few times to exit back to normal game play

Thanks, sixcardmark. looks like I won't need to program this machine after all. Dang, looks like its already set at 98.5 percent. Shoot I've had this machine over a year now and have not hit jackpot yet. So I guess I will leave this one alone as well as my double gold machine. Thank you guys so much, for your input and information on this subject.

You are welcome.  It is a good idea to keep a key chip on hand anyway, maybe even get a clear chip with it and save shipping.  RB has both.   As far as I know the different % settings don't effect the top two awards anyway, just the others.

i forget how the name it but since the reel stops are literally virtual
this is hypethetical but gives an ides how it works


jackpot 1 stop
2nd highest 2 stops
3rd highest 5 stops
...
next to lowest 100 stops
no win 500 stops


so a lower percentage would change it similar to

jackpot 1 stop
2nd highest 2 stops
3rd highest 4 stops
...
next to lowest 95 stops
no win 600 stops


of course these are not acutall numbers but gives the idea


** side note, on poker machines they just change the payout amount per win, which is why poker slot players now which machines have higher percentage just by locking at the pay table
