IGT bartop meter disconnect error.

I have an IGT bartop that keeps going into a meter disconnect error. It had a low battery and i fixed that but i can not get this meter disconnect to go away. I took all of the IO cards out of a good game and put it into the problem game, even swapped the power supply between games,and the bv with it's io as well . I can get the meter disconnect error to go away but the bet buttons won't respond until you reseat the connector. But even that won't last, once the door is shut all of the buttons show open in diagnostics, i don't think a ram clear will help solve the issue, i think i may have a short somewhere but i am not sure where it could be coming from. Any ideas?

What model of machine is it?  If you're not sure, please post a picture of the machine and its screen display so we can get this topic moved to the correct section and get you further assistance.  I'm taking a guess and moving it to the Game King section, but it might not be right.
