Bally EM continental

I have a regular Continental and one with a meter. My normal one works fine but am now going to start on the metered machine. Do I need to have an external device to add credits to the meter? Am I able to convert it over to coins in and out... if I remember right there is a hopper in it.

Dave I see that you are serious about the purge.  I told Don to call you and touch bases.  As a matter of fact, he may have an answer to you question since he is an ace mechanic and I know that he has credit machines.

David...
 If I remember correct this game has a button on the side that turns on the credit feature of the game.. I had one once, but that's been a while ago now.. By pushing the button allowed the winnings to go to the credit meter to be played, instead of paying out coins..

yes there is that button, but with the meter at 0 and no coin entry, how are credits added without an external device?

That I don’t know? Mine had coin handling as a normal slot does.. Ra might know. She has a friend that has a lucky Twins with that kind of setup. I think it was said that luck twin didn’t have a hopper but I don’t know about coin handling? Can you post a couple pics of your machine?

Some of the coin/credit machines have a second key on side that is a 2 way switch. One way for coin only, and the other way for coin/credit.

Mechanic:
Lucky Twin has NO hopper.   If I remember correctly the Lucky Twin has a regulation mech and a ramp that leads to a tray in the cabinet or the drop box below. Where the hopper would be is two multiplier units.   VERY HEAVY!
