bally e 2000 serie stuck on 50.000 , after repair attempt it is DEAD

I had error , 50.000 ,i could play only in test 8,  i want to bypass lock switch , after i did , 3 minutes after i smell something burn out , and no display any more.
Dead reset or test button, i check all fuses but they look good. No clue what went wrong. Maybe i bypass wrong switch .

I would bet that you damaged the IO Board on the back wall. Those two wire do not get hooked together. The bottom switch wire is the common. The other two wires, one works with the switch in the closed position, the other in the open position. You need to eliminate one of those two wire and attach the other to the common wire still in the switch. If your IO Board looks ok then you might want to check the wiring back by the fuse block on the back wall. Also check your wiring by the doors lower hinge switch for melted wires.
