Mississippi jurisdiction chip question

 A machine I am clearing BB1.  On the set up screen says it is a Mississippi jurisdiction chip. But when I go to do the settings it will not let me go above 1200 still. It says cannot exceed tax limit. I know it is a Mississippi chip also because while I’m playing the counters do not run at all.

The desirable aspect of the Mississippi SJUR is that it does not run the counters, they are disabled so no annoying ticking.  The 1,200 jackpot is by federal law, so all US SJUR's will have that limit.  To my knowledge the SJUR from colombia is the only one that allow for jackpot lockups greater than 1,200, but it enables the counters, so ticking whenever it pays or credits are inserted.

 So the wife’s gonna have to pick which evil she wants $1200 jackpot or ticking counters with the Columbia chip. Thanks
