IGT AVP SMLD Diagnostic

I purchased this diagnostic, along with an eKey07, from eBay.When I got it, the Diagnostic USB came with a label that was partially rubbed off.I asked a friend to verify that the eKey and diagnostic would work ok in my machine.He said the eKey was good, but he didn't want to chance plugging the diagnostic in and came up with a version 14-04 that worked.Soooooo.I attached a picture of the ad where I bought the eKey and diagnostic and a picture of the diagnostic I received.If anybody is knowledgeable enough to figure if they can use it, make me an offer and cover postage and it's yours.

The Diagnostic is for family 20 S-3000 based stuff crystal etc.  If anyone moved that switch on the side and plugged it in then it's Fubar.  Igt techs actually put tape on that switch to prevent it.  Also, From your purchase and what you pictured---How did the label get worn off that way?.  Legit question.

I don't know how it got rubbed/worn off, but my friend said the same thing about frying it if you plug it into a computer. So I haven't done anything with it.
This actually does have clear tape over the sliding switch over the side and the white label is stuck over the top of the tape.See picture

To clarify: I ordered off eBay, expecting what was pictured with the eKey. What I got was the diagnostic that was partially rubbed off.No love from the seller, as he said the picture posted was "only an example" and the diagnostic should work.That's when I got my friend involved.
