S2000 blowing a capacitor on door cards + coin in jam error

Hey guys, I’ve been reading lots of information on this, but can seem to find the culprit.
This machine is giving the coin in jam error, despite not having a coin comparator or any coin-related unit installed.


Oddly enough, in checking the cards, I noticed a very burned capacitor on one of the door I/O cards.
So I replaced it, and it immediately zap-popped the replacement unit - same spot.  It’s the line that’s attached to the 3rd 24v power wire coming from the harness into the card.


I have one card left, and an loathe to try it until I have a better idea as to the cause.
Any ideas?

Did you ever resolved this problem?
I think you have the I/O harnesses backwards from the belly side to the inside....especially if it's a 10-button deck.
