IGT S2000 repair assistance

A helpful ebay vendor suggested I seek help here.  We have an IGT S2000 and I need recommendations for a repair technician in the Baton Rouge, LA area.  When closing the door, the lever/knob will not go all the way down and the machine is inoperable.  I sent the ebay vendor a pic and he said the lock appears in the correct position. I've called all the local casinos  and they do not refer techs out.  The dollar bill acceptor has never worked either and I need that looked at.  Any assistance is greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

When shutting the door use your left palm to push up and in on the door from the top right hand corner, at the same time then slide the lever down all the way with your right hand.

If for some reason you can't get the latch down (check the green bill acceptor bezel and make sure its lined up properly with the black bill acceptor bezel on the front of the door), you could always bypass the optics by following these instructions:

Be sure the bottom plate is properly seated in place. It may or may not have a coin tray attached. It will make it hard to close the door if it's not fully seated.
