New Member - Double Diamond Bill Acceptor issue

Been lurking around her for a while reading various posts regarding my issues. Many I have corrected on my own, thanks to all!!
One issue I am struggling with is the bill acceptor. I understand that my unit may be too old to accept newer currency, however I am unable to get it to initialize.
It seems to have a newer model 200 unit as it does not have an EEPROM the chip is surface mount, all the switches are in the OFF position however when I took possession of it the power connector was unplugged. The slot works with coins but it would be nice to get it to accept bills. The cash box seems in tact, I took everything apart and cleaned and checked. when I connect the power it just short runs with the LEDs on the board cycling on and off. I wonder if I have a bad power supply? I attached a video of the issue that includes shots of the slot title and the bill acceptor model and power supply. The video obviously includes the symptom. I actually still have one of those 200 DBV's!! ...haha

Unless you have a collection of small headed bills, the only bill that will work with it are the singles nowadays.

Let me install my DBV Monday on an S+ and see if I can come up with an answer for ya.

You might get lucky and someone will answer you before I do since this post is being revived.

Offhand, although I'm not near the machine at the moment, I believe that I had the metal aluminum power supply connected to it - not the black plastic one as in your video.
