Bally S5500 Low volume

Resolved: Bad U62 Audio Amp chip - LM3900N.
I have a Bally S5500 that has really weak audio. The pot on the board is all the way up, but very faint audio. I swapped out another board, and the cabinet is fine, so it has to be on the board itself. Any ideas?

I swapped pots, no improvement.  Audio amp at U61?

For the benefit of others who might experience this - It turned out to be U62 LM3900N audio amp chip.  Once replaced, audio was much higher.


Not sure if U61 was bad, that it would have no audio or not, maybe someone can comment.
