Nvram Battery 1 Low

Good afternoon.  I need to double check that I am correct before I do this update in my slot machine.  I have BB1 Dual Screen slot machine.  It comes up with a "Nvram Battery 1 low.  I assume that it is the batteries associated with the slot machine.  First which batteries do I replace it with?  (cpu or the top screen or both)   Second, which type of batteries should I buy.  I heard that CR2335 and BR2335 will work.   Which one will work and what are the differences between the two.

They are the CPU batteries.  If you have the "blue" mpu type, they are CR2032's.  If you have the "green" mpu type they are BR2335, although CR2335 will also work.  The difference is in the the way the batteries discharge over time.  The BR type are more resistant to higher temperature applications and their voltage stays evenly throughout the life of the battery, they are better suited for backup nvram.  The CR version starts at a somewhat higher voltage and over time, the voltage drops below the 3 volts, they are meant to be used on higher drain situations.  So BR is preferred, but for home use where loosing the accounting information and having to setup the game again is not a big deal, the more common CR variant will work.  I have been using the CR type for a few years now and have had no issues.  They have typically lasted 3 years with the machine only powered up around 5% of the time.

Thanks for your help earlier.  I found the C2032 batteries and I assumed the one on the right is number 2 so I changed it with a new battery.  It loaded everything but still says call attendant and when I turn the reset key, it still says nvram 2 low.  Why if this is a new battery?

Save yourself a headache and replace all 3 batteries...
2 on the MPU and the one in the top box...
