IGT S+ -- all quarters being diverted to drop instead of going into the hopper

I have an IGT S+ slot model number B5030CFIW
Is there a listing of the different codes and their meaning when I turn the reset key multiple times?I am trying to debug why my quarters are not diverting back to the hopper like they use to do. Instead they go down the chute where there is no hole in the stand. The machine works fine otherwise.

Is this only on the first game after power on? Then all others go to the hopper? If yes, that is normal

Is your hopper full?  When the hopper is full, the diverter will send all coins to drop door.  There is a "screw" that is removable.  Has a cable attached to it.  You can move it up and down the hopper (it has holes depending on how high the hopper level is allowed to get).  If there are coins touching the other side of this screw inside the hopper, then it is closing the switch causing the coins to go to drop door.  You can move the screw up another level or 2 if that is the case, otherwise, it could just be a stuck diverter.

The hopper is not full at all - just enough to provide quarters for payout (friendly games at home). The screw with wire connected is near the top of the hopper which is empty - nothing touching it. Not sure why this is happening when nothing changed since last time I powered up.
