igt s+ double wild cherry nothing lighting up on panel

I have an IGT S+
Double Wild Cherry machine and nothing is lighting up on the outside (coins in, coins played, cash out) it will let me put quarters in but will not let me play. There are no codes displayed or anything. Please help

Are the wheels spin freely?
Try to wiggle the plug that runs from the power supply to the motherboard.
Check to see that the wheels lock up

"still nothing"...Do you mean when you open the door and move the reels with your hand, there's no resistance?

Is there power coming out of the power supply box?

there is no resistance i can move them freely with my hand. i have had the machine for awhile and it was working fine. the machine lights up but not the outside of the coin panel (where it shows coins in etc)

When you put coins in, where do the coins go and is the .25 cent display the only lamp that is on....or none at all?



Check if there's power coming out of the power supply with a multimeter.
Check the 3 fuses as well...6amp top, 8amp middle, and 6 amp bottom. Use quick blow fuses only.
If you have power, and fuses are good, then check the power supply harness.
Pull up and off the white Molex connector on the motherboard and turn it around.
If it's burned and yellowed on the housing, you can change the female pins, or you can buy a new harness

Clean that connection ( white plug that plugs into the motherboard)
If you wiggle it around you should see the reels jump

The coins go right into the hopper and none of them lights light up. i will check them other things

Chances are very great you will need a new power cable(white thing) The originals only make contact on one edge. The new ones make contact in 3 places. As they get loose they start arcing and burn out
