BB2 Top Screen "shake"

I've noticed on several games sometimes the top screen will have a very slight "shake", I guess that is the only way I know how to explain it.  It's not really super noticeable unless you are close to the screen.


Some of the games I run in the BB2 were designed to run on a 1.5 and i think those machines had slightly different screen sizes (resolution), so I'm not sure if it's just because of that.


Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has that problem and if it's just an expected thing or do I have a LCD screen maybe on the verge of going bad?


I have a friend with a similar machine and he gets the same behavior on some games.

I don't think I've ever noticed that, but then again, I've never looked "really close" to the top screen to see what is going on.  But if the screen shakes, I think I would have noticed.  Usually if the screen shake goes away after a bit, then you have cap issues either on the AD board inside the monitor or sometimes it is power related. If the shake is there no matter how long the game is up, then I would look at the video cable.  The top screen on a bb2 is wired VGA, so the monitor "auto-adjusts" every time there's a ground reset, which happens whenever a new signal is fed to the monitor.  If you have a faulty cable, the ground pin might be connecting and disconnecting causing the "shake."
