Bad reel 2 driver
« on: September 11, 2014, 10:14:36 am »
I have a 502 mpu with a bad reel 2 driver. Befor I spent hours trying to debug the board I thaught I would see if anyone knows a common falt on these. Yes I know it's in the mpu I swaped boards with a working machine and the problem followed the bad board.

I found a bad trace that may have caused it testing now.

Ya it was a bad trace running from the bigger MOSFET to the connector on the side of the board.

Good work and good eye.
Working these boards is much harder for me now that my eyes have gone to s--t.

Glad you got it working.

i have always had bad eyes. i was born with a deformity to my left eye, and actually saw backwards in that one eye up until middle school. with out my glasses( a bought time i get new ones) im practically blind.

we have a back stock of bad boards at work tho and i have been trying to get as many of them working as i can. i have a few experiments i want to do and im not going to use a good board for them.

while on the topic of experiments this is one of the bad boards i have been playing with. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iN6Jk9Vz0BY
