S Plus increase credit past 1,000

Have a 3 coin single line Hot Pepper with a SP731 chip.  It has no bill validator so I wanted to know if there was a way to increase the credits the machine will hold past 1,000?  I’d rather keep the quarters in the machine and build them up rather than spitting them into the tray once it reaches 1,000 quarters.  I have the Program Summary Report for the SP731 but have read and re-read the entire thing and can’t figure out how to increase the credits past 1,000.  Maybe you can’t.  Anyone have ideas.  New to this myself, but it’s a lot of fun trying to figure these machines out.  I really enjoy my 2 machines….. Thank you.

With zero credits on machine press white test button until you see 7 in coins played window.  Change from 1000 to 9999.

There are 2 stops on the #7.  The first shows 1000 in the WINNER PAID window which I presume is why it reads 1,000.  The second stop on 7 lights 0120 in the CREDITS meter.  I assume it’s the first stop of the 7 in the window that I need to change.  However, I am only able to change the last 0 digit from 0-9… (ie 0,1,2,3,4,5, …… 9) 1,009.  The Spin Reel Button doesn’t let me move to the other digits to the left. The other lit button is the Bet One Credit which moves to the next screen or #8 in the PLAY a window.  The other lit button is the PLAY 3 CREDITS and that one allows you to move in reverse in the COINS PLAYED window 8,7,6.  How can I get the thing to move LEFT over the 1 (as in 1,000) and get off the far right last zero (as in 1,000).  THANKS,
