hot shot all about money s9000/m9000 uses same compact flash software?

hey all. I was messing around a little with my v20/v20 today with hot shot all about money and I forgot to unplug the reel control board (RCU Board) from the backplane and when the game loaded the progressive display from the stepper version of the game came up. does this mean that HS all about money uses the same compact flash for both video and stepper versions or is this simply a glitch they forgot to leave out?

Yes there are some CF game cards that work for either video or stepper.

That’s pretty convenient! If only I had the reel strips and glass for it but that’s a whole another story.
