G23 Top Monitor Issues

I have a G23 where the top monitor comes on for a second and then shuts off. What exactly is causing this issue? (I assume power board?)

If I unplug it and replug it comes on for a second and turns off again.

Is removing the top monitor like removing the main monitor? Frame and all?

I have never had to remove the top monitor so any info would be great!

Yep remove frame with monitor, then you can get to the screws to remove the frame from the monitor.  Be careful the frame will go back on upside down on new monitor and it will leave a gap if you do. (yes I did do that by mistake :duh:)

Thanks Mark!

Another question, I noticed that the monitor is has a 9 pin power connector to the monitor that runs to the power supple in the back of the top box. If I get a new monitor will I need a different  harness unless its the same brand? I think a Tatung is in there now.

I replaced a working kortek with a brand new ceronix and they both have 9 pins.  My kortek is for sale, nothing wrong with it, just got a deal on the new ceronix.  PM if interested.
