Bally 6000 Pay Delay with Progressive?

Hi -

I have a couple Cash Wheel style 6000s with Mikohn progressives, both set up the same (1.5 cent advance per 3 credit spin).

One game has a very noticeable delay in paying wins after the spin which seems to be related to the timing of the progressive amount advancing (it won't pay until the digits stop advancing).

The other one (and most I've played) pay wins immediately when the 3rd wheel lands, never with any noticeable delay.

Interestingly, I played a Quick Hit with progressive at a casino recently that also had the same pay delay issue.

What might that be? Are there slower processors or memory that may have been used? A setting?  Something with the Mikohn?

Kind of odd that this happens, and keeps the game from being ready, lighting the buttons, etc. for the next spin.

Not sure what would cause this. Compare your settings on the Mikohn board. Check all three menu's and see if there is differences between the two. Alos look at the Mikohn chip on the board that has a version number on the label.

Thanks Sunrise, made me think I should try switching Mikohn boards to see if it travels or not too.

Do those systems tolerate moving the Mikohn boards around, or does that trigger a security thing that will require a clear?
