IGT Game King Will not accept Cash or Tickets

I have a IGT Game King Poker Machine with a 3902 MPU version 5, it was worked fine until I tried switching the 3902 MPU from another game king into it.  I wanted to make sure the spare MPU was working correctly. (Big Mistake) When I turned on the machine it did nothing so I removed the MPU and reinstalled the original MPU and restarted the machine and the game came up, however the bill acceptor would not accept tickets or cash, but everything else seemed to be working, but I had no way to put credits on the machine to make sure.  It has a TITO installed.  The only thing I know to do was to use my clear 22 chip to clear the memory and reprogram the game and machine.  After doing that several time it always came back that the bill acceptor would not accept bills or tickets. The Machine showed no tilts.  On startup the bill acceptor "MEI cashflow acceptor" would initiate as normal and the game would come up, but the yellow bill acceptor light to insert bills never comes on.  On the bill acceptor itself the small green light is bling slowly Which I believe is normal.  Not sure what the problem is, so any help trouble shotting this issue would be very appreciative.  Thank You...

Does your touchscreen still work? That uses the Netplex interface as well so if that works we know the comms aren't down.

Yes, the touch screen works fine.  everything other that the bill acceptor works, all graphics buttons Etc. work.  After the start up and initializing of the machine, the MEI cashflow acceptor green light is flashing slowly, on my other working game king the light is on steady.  one other thing to note, on the front of the MPU all 5 amber light remain on, on the working machine only 3 of the amber light are on, not sure what that means.

I think 3 LEDs is good. Try pulling the cash can out of the acceptor and putting it back in. Does the acceptor cycle correctly. It should make a kerchunk noise

You may have to go into the menu and do a CRC Mismatch reset for the BV>

Justin, Thanks, I removed the cash can and replaced it, when doing that the bill acceptor does recycle and makes the kerchunk noise.  I'm beginning to think there is a problem with the 3902 MPU as for some reason all 5 amber light remain on, when everything worked prior to this problem there were only 3 amber lights on.  Thanks Mark...

Does the BV pull the bills and tickets, and then reject? Or does it not even try to pull in funds?

Is one of the 5 amber MPU LEDs, actually red?
Could you post us a photo of them?

The BV will not pull in bills or tickets at all.

The 5 lights on the MPU are actually Amber, and at no time they are red.  Attached is a pic of the lights.
