IGT game king touch screen manf. Date 2 of 1998

my name is Cara from PHX AZ, I was given an IGT touchscreen game king machine model no. 890566. Man. Date 02 of 1998. First let me say that when I got home, my roommate and I drilled out keyhole because we didn't know how to open machine. We since have figured it out. So it turns on lights up but monitor is very faint so much that you can barely see choice of games on monitor. I took screen out replaced compacitors as they were bulged out, still not able to see game choices.  Do you think it could be the touchscreen itself?
