What model is this Bally machine and error code

  Hello all,
 Pretty sure this machine is going to fall in this category but I am not sure. I have not messed with many Bally machines. I have tried to figure out what model this machine is to try to get some info on it. Like error codes ect. The machine was working and the key got broke off in it and it set for a while without being used. Then when got into it and put a new lock on and tried to turn it on it boots up to error code in pic.
  Does anyone know what Bally model this is and maybe what the error code means? Hopefully there will be a manual in the download section for it.    Thanks

You have a S5500 and it needs a new 3.6V Lithium battery and a clear.

Sunrise Side, the Lithium battery that is in it has 3.6 volts. I have not changed the battery or took it off of the board. The board has a battery holder on it. If I turn it on now all it shows is weird stuff in the win paid and an 8 in the credit window.
  Also how does this machine know the door is open or closed?  Sensors or Cherry switch?

Remove your MPU and check the edge connector for bent pins. If all OK , when you install the MPU it is tight fitting and it will snap into place as an indication it is fully seated. The white plunger switch mounted on the cabinet is the door switch.

  I removed the MPU and checked all the pins and they were all good and straight. So I took it back and messed with putting it back in the machine. I noticed when I pulled it out the first time it seemed very easy to pull out. It just did not feel right. So trying to put it back in it was like it would hit and just not go in all of the way. So I messed around with it for awhile and finally got it to go in flush like it should. So I turned the machine on and the reels spun a little and it showed the credits on the machine and was ready to play. I played about 10 spins.
   The thing is the bill validator starts cycling during boot up but it never stops. It was cycling the whole time I was playing the 10 spins. It will not quit cycling until I turn the power off.
  Does anyone know what would make the bill validator keep cycling like it is? From what I was told the bill validator was never used so they did not know if it worked.
 Also what do you have to do in these machines to replace the button bulbs?

Could be the scanner head has failed,  but you can open  the  lid and clean the upper and lower optics with just water and a soft cloth.

 I took the scanner head out and cleaned it. I went ahead and pulled the rest of the unit out. I noticed there is no cash box. I see that there are pieces that the cash box is suppose to push in. I guess they are hitting switches when the cash box is in there. I held the back switches in and turned the machine on and the bill validator acted totally different and did not keep running and I could play the machine. Do all of those switches need to be closed for the bill validator to not run continuously and possibly work?
 I dont see how they ever played it without the bill validator continually running. I did notice before I took it apart that when it was running I could try to put a bill in it and as soon as it barely went in and I would say got to the first sensor the validator would quit cycling. Maybe someone had a piece of paper in there and it feel out. I dont know. I guess I could duct tape something in there to hold those switches closed or something.
     On the bulb replacement on these buttons do they pull out or twist out from the bottom. Maybe pull the top off of it. I dont know how these buttons are and do not want to mess something up.

  I figured out the bill validator continually running had something to do with the scanner head not being like it should. I got it working. I also figured out you just pull the bottom of the switch assembly down to get to the bulbs. I have some 86 and 555 bulbs ordered to replace the bulbs in the buttons and behind the reel glass. Hopefully that will have it 100%.
