Bill validator upgrade?

So I have a wba-22-ss that is working but it is not taking the new 10 dollar Canadian bill. We also have a new 5 coming out soon. I was told that this is not up-gradable anymore and no new updates are coming out. Was told a new JCM UBA validator may work with the new bills. Can anyone confirm this? Also what all would be needed to make the change over and is it even worth doing? Any info would be great as I find these acceptotrs kinda confusing with all the different models and some have chips some don't kinda thing lol

Oh really, so I was not told correctly that there is no update for the 10 dollar bills. How much do you charge? Can you just send me a chip or do I have to send you the unit to upgrade? Im located in New Brunswick Canada

If your transport has an EPROM style memory , a chip will update it. If it is flash style you would have to ship it for update. If your not sure what style it is, post a picture  or email me a picture of the underside of the transport.
