Easiest way to plug in jur spi and bios on bb3?!!?!

Hi all, I searched this forum for the easiest way to plug in jur spi and bios to a bb3 and found nothing. I am having real trouble here as it is not only very difficult to reach but even then it seems impossible to get a true good view of the plugin. Now I am going on my 3rd jur spi cause of breaking off pins. ugh. Please let me know if anyone has an easier method for dealing with this. Thanks!

p.s. sorry but I think this machine is a Bb2e Conversion to NXT3.2

Try removing the CPU.  That should give you a better view of the sockets

BB2 bios and jur chips are just bare chips.  For those I just use a needlenose pliers to hold the chip straight and push them straight into the socket without bending the pins.
Same pliers also make it easy to remove them.

BB3 bios and jur chips are in plastic carriers making it easier.  Still have to align the pins before pressing in though.

Side note.  If you work on slots, one of these is essential (for me at least).   Far better than a flashlight or even a headlamp!

$29 (a real bargain as it's really bright) and many folks have at least one Ryobi tool so they have a battery already. 

With that I can see everything clearly without having to hold a flashlight or anything.

Thank you everyone for your replies! So I was able to get it done, at least I believe so..... and I did so because I had not previously removed the bottom part of the front of the machine which was blocking much of my ability to view the area i needed to see. I say I believe so because once I replaced the chip, one a purchased from ebay, turned on the machine and am getting, "validation of spi device failed" which I believe usually means a bad" sjur chip, correct? My machine, a Wonka, has run flawlessly for a good amount of time so I am relatively confident it is not an issue elsewhere. The whole reason for having to replace the SJUR was because I took the original out and upon placing it back in accidentally broke off a pin.... hence the need for a new sjur. Is there anything else that I might try, or do I wait to get a new chip guys? If so does anyone here sell these chips? Thanks for all your help!
