Firmware for any bill acceptor on Earth, has to match the machine it's installed in.
Would you agree?

For the Pyramid/Apex bill acceptors used in 8 liners and other similar games you can download the firmware directly from Pyramids website.   However they are no longer supporting the 5400 and 5600 series even though they are widely used.  They only have the firmware for the 7400 and 7600 acceptors on their site now.

Oh okay...for 8-Liner or Cherry Master type of machines.

What about asking the guys at like Great Lakes Amusement or maybe 8 Line Supply .com websites?
Maybe they'd still have the older firmware files?
I noticed while doing a search that there's "community pages" - I'll betcha if you posted on those that you were looking for it, you'd get a response?

While searching further, I noticed some guy Dustin Rogers was also looking for it on the NLG FB site back in Sept.
I don't know if he found it or not ?
