UBA 10 causing no disp error?

I purchased a used UBA 10 on eBay recently. I have tried it on several S2000s and each time I do, it comes up with the “no disp” error. The unit does not cycle. The listing stated it was tested in working condition. When I reinstall a known working WBA, the machines work again - tested on a couple different machines with same result. If it matters, previous BV was for Canadian bills, the new one that is not working is for USD. Also tried the troubleshooting by having dips  1,2,3 and 8 down and then flipping 8 up, unit did not cycle.

Not sure if I got a bad unit or if I’m doing something wrong on my end. Any advice would be appreciated.

Check the jumpers on the cpu board. It appears they are set for RS232 protocol. It needs ID024 firmware as well.

Thanks RB! I’m kinda new to this - is it as simple as moving the jumpers to the other pins? And how do I go about getting the correct firmware?

yes effectively, your uba 10 is not programmed with good protocol!!
you need id 024 for your s2000, if your uba is program with another protocol id 003 or id 008 your machine don't start up!!!!
by the way i search id024 file for canadian bills, i can make and exchange with id 024 file for usa bills!!!!
