Game King AVP Slant-Top Red Screen/Green Screen issue

Hello to all!

 I wanted to ask if anyone has any insight on a specific issue with the red screen I have. At random points when the machine throws a fit and goes into a green screen, there is a small chance that when you open the door to make it red it stays green. I'm looking for a way to faster relieve this problem as the only way that our crew has found to fix this problem is to unplug the 24-pin and 4-pin and walk away from it for a while before coming back and plugging it in. We have tried different methods to get it to recognize the door open such as jumping the switch wires or wiggling the 24-pin but with no luck.

If anyone has a tip or trick to bypass this glitch other than waiting over an hour for it to maybe work would be super helpful.
