17" LCD touch-screen for i-game

Looking for 17" igame touchscreen for my LCD. Was moving my machine around and banged the front of the LCD and cracked the touchscreen glass.

Did the LCD panel get cracked or just the touch screen. The touch screen would be cheaper than the whole LCD.

Almost impossible to damage the LCD screen as it is slightly flexible.
I agree with others, simply replace the "Touch Screen" glass.
Peel back the tape around the edges to expose the adhesive that holds it in place.
Use either a piece of nylon fishing line to cut the foam or a SHORT blade.
It's pretty easy to remove it, once it's out you should find a perfectly good LCD display under it.
To install is simple, new screen will come with 8 adhesive foam pieces.I suggest you use them.
Some will use double sided rubber tape, I have found this causes calibration problems.
Once in place,TEST IT. It works....use the same type of tape to seal it all back up....

Guys, thanks for the responses.  I carefully removed the cracked glass and the LCD underneath is ok....


Put it back in machine and LCD works.   


So i will modify my WTB for a 17" touchscreen then.
