Bally 5500 roaring 20’s wrong payout help

Hello all,  new to the forum and have done a lot of research prior to posting utilizing all the resources. Truly some talent on this sight with a lot of expertise.  I’m new to slot machines and just purchased a Bally 1996 roaring 20’s slot for $150.  Got it up and running with a battery change and clear after reviewing other threads.
I noticed the payout was incorrect so looked at the u18 and u20 personality chips and it appears it has 6992 chips which doesn’t match what the other threads said. 
Apparent the correct chips for roaring 20’s is 8276 thru 8282.   Is that correct?   If so does anyone know where I can purchase the correct 18&20 chips.

Hello all,  still running into issues with my roaring 20’s chips.  I purchased a set of chips and they seem to be corrupted and didn’t work,  got a code 60.  I put the original chips back in and worked fine except they are the wrong chips for the roaring 20 payout.  Anyone have any of the 8276-8282  chips available I can purchase.

60 code is odd. If chips were corrupted, I think you would get one of the 80's code. You changed just the SMI chips U18 and U20? You cleared the RAM with the jumper on pins?

My apologies,  it was an 80 code did the jumper clear. Replaced the new chips got the 80.  Replaced with the old chips and did same process with jumper and is working with those chips, just wrong payout.

Thanks, I got some chips from Ronald a couple weeks ago but ran into the 80 code with those chips. Wondering if I should flip those chips in case they were labeled wrong.  Do you think that would cause any  problems. I’m assuming it would only cause another 80 code or best case scenario they work.  Any thoughts.  Thanks

I tried flipping the 18 and 20 chip in case they were labeled wrong.  No luck got the 80 code again.  Put the original chips back in.

I contacted Ron and he has no way to test the chips he sent me so I may have to send back to him.  I don’t have another machine I could put them in to test.  I really want to get this machine up and running. Tried multiple times, get the code 80 put in the other chips runs fine, just wrong payout.  Looked everywhere to try and purchase a different set of the roaring 20 chips with no luck.  I guess the other option is finding glass and reels that match the game, not sure if I want to go to that expense or even if I could find them.

What is the SMI number for your chips?
