Bally Model 918 Swedish Mustang - HELP

Hey guys.  I have been sitting on this project for some time.  Finally got it working, except the feature does not work at all.  Upon further investigation it appears the stepper is gone and we have a few open wires.  I think someone removed the stepper and possibly the Mustang relay.  So that part doesnt work.

Does anyone have any pics of THEIR feature unit?  I would take as many as you can send.  You could even send directly to my phone 608-289-5732.

that unit doesn't have any wipers or contact plate.

from a quick look at the schematic, you need a stepper unit with at least:

- step up and reset coils
- a N.O. step-up arm switch
- 2 open-at-top switches
- an open-at-zero switch

the number of steps on the stepper unit I dunno.  Got a picture of the top glass?

the bally 1900 manual covered some of the swedish machines.  pdf is in https://bingo.cdyn.com/slots/bally_manuals/, but it doesn't say how many steps a C-1051-8A ratchet has.

if the mustang relay is missing, do you have some relays?  The schematic will say what kind/how many switches you need and how to wire it.  However, it looks like the mustang relay is the middle one in your pic.  There's at least switches on the mustang relay with the following wires on them:
- 43-1 and 15-2
- 85-1 and 14

Thank you.  What is the multiplier for?  I dont see it in the manual either.

I do have a Swedish Las Vegas and I am going to see if they are comparable.  I could try plugging that into the top unit if the color codes look the same.

it's possible they added the pinball score reel to replace the mustang unit. 

I'm not sure what the game play is supposed to be.  I vaguely recall something about a horseshoe win will enable a bonus payout opportunity on the next 10 spins, in which case the standard pinball score reel with 10 positions would seem useful.  The top glass picture will help.

the contact plate on the score reel is wired to connect a circuit at 1 of the 10 positions assuming none of the traces are jumpered together on the not visible side of the board.

if ya can figure out what the score reel is doing, the game may function correctly once ya find a problem with the circuits someone created.

the top relay is the regular J.P relay.  Not sure where the green wires on the score reel are going or the wire colors they attach to. If you want to email highest possible resolution pictures of the game to slotpics@cdyn.com, that'll help. 

the schematic for a 918-1 is on https://bingo.cdyn.com/slots/ ... it has credit play, which it looks like your machine used to have and someone removed the replay register.  Is there a button on the outside of the cabinet near the top of the handle?
