Epic 950 firmware for s2000

Hello!

What firmware should I have flashed in my Epic 950 printer to work with my IGT S-S2000 manufactured in 2001.  The printer has all 3 ports, USB, Netplex and the other. My S-2000 is wired for Netplex, no USB port.

should be netplex, mine had v00039, but I'm sure there would be a newer version.

I just wanted to double check that this firmware will work for my machines before I send them off to get new firmware.  IGT S-2000 Netplex. :thank_you:

what firmware is currently on them? do you have the correct netplex cable?
the firmware may start with ITP (ITPV00039) I have it noted without the ITP, but see it listed with.

Hi,

Casino Network Inc, in Arlington TX is having me ship them directly to their Transact Service center. This is the closest place for me but still a 5 hour drive so I will ship them. $25 each.

I have also reached out to Transact personally for the firmware. I don't know how far that will go.

The firmware on the printers I bought have IUU00970300, I bought them not knowing about firmware differences. The machines are prewired with netplex and the rack for the Epic 950 printer so I thought it would be easy to just buy any old epic 950 printer. I'll continue to learn from my mistakes though. :fryingpan:

The printers were returned shiny and new with V00187 firmware and work great!
