IGT Crystal Curve Monitor LED Light Issue

Hey folks - looks like the LED strips on the sides of my main monitor on the Crystal Curve are going out.  About half on one side stay solid while the top half of that side - and the entire other side - constantly flickering/strobing.  I gues it's possible it's the controller/PS board for the LEDs, but given that some on one side are actually doing fine, I assume it's the LED strips.  Are these available anywhere, and how hard are they to change out?  Thanks!

Just curious if you ever got this resolved?  I have a 27/27 with the same issue.

I work with LCD monitors often but the flat screen ones like for the IGT G23's or WMS BB2's.
It takes a lot careful patience to repair them.
I can only imagine the difficulty being much higher of trying to work on curved screens! Ugh!

An oxidized pin in a video cord, a bad AD board, dying backlighting lamps, bloated caps in a ballast, or a dying LCD panel.
All of these above are like a lightbulb - they don't last forever.
Most LCDs have a lifetime expectancy of about 50,000 hrs.
One year in a casino, ON 24/7, uses up 8,760 hrs.
So it'll last about 5.7 years...well, yours is just about had it by now.
Is there a date on a label somewhere?

I've never seen anyone take one of those curved ones apart.
I'm wondering if they're really any different from a cheap 27" Wamart Curved TV LCD screen panel or not.
I'll betcha there's no difference in the internal lighting parts...lol
