Can someone please help me.  I need a replacement bulb for my s2000 topper. Whether it’s led or fluorescent. I attached what’s there now but I don’t know the replacement voltage. Thank you

Order that exact bulb, with that information! There is an electronic ballast inside the white plastic box, it converts 25vdc to the operating voltage of the bulb. Those ballast can and do go bad. It’s either the bulb, ballast or power to the ballast.

Do you know what the operating voltage is? I’m so confused on this cause I read there 12 volt then I read there’s 24 volt and 120 volt. Can I get an LED for this?  I had an s-plus and I converted all the bulbs to led by doing away with the ballast. If that possible for my topper I’d like that if not. Thank you

Voltage doesn’t matter, it has a starter and transformer that the bulb runs on.

CW denotes Cool White, sometimes Daylight looks a little warmer in homes, but you can get any color temp you desire. Here is a 4 pack on Amazon. We cannot buy fluorescent bulbs in stores in CA unless they are already in stock or in instances where there is not a reasonable LED alternative.

If you want an LED replacement you might have to re-wire to bypass the starter and transformer….I couldn’t find a drop-in replacement of that model. Probably just easier to use a fluorescent, it will last 20 years or more.

Thank you very much I appreciate it. I’ve been reading so many things since I’m new to having a slot machine. I read an article where Jim said I believe Jim responded (can’t find it) to use led strip and tap into 12 volts that’s what I would like to do but don’t know where.

It's actually +13vdc in an S2000 cabinet.
Use the Red (+13vdc) and Black (-) wires for that on the harness going up to the topper.
Don't use the Orange wires...those are 25 volts, and be careful of the brown/gray wires - those are for 115 volts AC.

Go into the NLG File System and download yourself a wiring schematic of your cabinet.
Assuming you have an upright cabinet, you'll want the 821-296-02_Electronic_Diagram_Parts_Vision_Slot_Upright.pdf
It will show you ALL the voltages inside your machine.

If you're going to mess around with a slot machine, I highly suggest that you go purchase a digital multimeter to check voltages.

Ok will do I’m gonna give it a shot. Gonna order the led strips. (I just splice into those 2 wires)
