ok so on this backplane j22 what pins do i use for making a 24v supply cable for my oled panel which is power and ground? and which colors are pos neg on the oem cable?

or if someone could tell me the wattatge spec to just use a 24v power supply brick? this is pretty much the last thing i need to fire this thing up, any help is greatly appreciated. i cannot be the only one who needs this info, i cannot find one image on the entirety of the web that shows the oled power connection at the backplane, if anyone can at least show this pic ill give you five bucks for your time. im desperate

Use the [J11] header.
It has four pins, you only need two for the deck.

Turn ON the power, stick red probe inside of [J11] header to find out which one shoots out 24V.
Touch black probe on any metal part of cabinet.
I'm not anywhere near a BB2 until Monday, if you can wait?

Sometimes the hot pin will be etched right on the surface of that OLED board right next to the 2-pin header.
Try to shoot a close up, high resolution photo.
Has to be sized to either the horizontal or vertical side at 1000 pixels to fit.
Or a total of 1000kb or less.
Or email it to me.

Can't see the lettering etched onto the surface of the circuit board on other side of that 2-pin header.
The square hole of the header is usually (-) negative.

Anyways, if you set a multimeter to continuity, and touch a black probe to the outside metal of the USB connector next to it, that would be ground (-).
Touch the red probe of the multimeter to one of the 2 pins inside that power header, the one that gives you continuity, is the negative (-) side of the power harness.
For kicks, try the square hole first...lol
Vice versa, touching the other pin in there and not getting continuity would mean that pin is the hot (+) pin.

There's bad, icy weather today up here in the Northeast, I may only be able to help tomorrow.
Also, are you sure 24 volts goes in there, not 12-13 volts?

well crap now im not sure as to 12/24 v now im even more lost. great. according to this block diagram (i hate theres not an automotive style wiring diagram) it gets power from (I) in the 12/24v distrubution panel through harness #HD-024034-00-00 i dont have anyone within a 10 hour drive that has a bb2 i could physically look at their harness to see what its pinned to

Thank you. I’m sure it’s 24 because I was gonna buy a 24v brick adapter a guy was selling that had the 2p connector that was running an oled in a bb1 but it got sold before I could get it.

Ok a step closer. I have located the HD-24034-00-00 harness (pic attached) and it has the bezel mini 2 pin and 4 dc male 3 pin connectors on one end and one 3 pin female on the other. Attached to one dc male is a mini 2 pin marked bezel. According to the block diagram the oled gets power from one of the four outputs on this harness.

Ok got the harness made. Flipped the power on and the displays say no signal. All the lights are on the backplane but the cpu only has the 12v light on. What am I missing. I bought this cpu new in box but it looks like it’s missing a couple chips.

I think everybody's using Columbia jurisdiction chips.
Ask around for the best ones that let you do anything in the settings.
The BIOS are usually burned onto PLCC 49LF008A chips.
RB is your NLG guy for chips...place a WTB Ad in the Classifieds section maybe?
Hopefully a vendor/member will have some to sell you.

Here's a picture of that short WMS BB2 OLED button deck power harness that plugs into the main door harnessing with the blue, yellow, and white wires.
I has a big choke on it, right underneath the header for the deck.
I had drawn some voltages on it ...I forgot I had this...I have a lotta junk...
