I checked controller bd and no 5V or 22V, instead I have 1.5V and 2.2V. Pull the hopper out and my 5 and 24Volts are present at the connector. I purchased a new board and that has the same issues. I'm thinking I got 2 bad controller boards now. I tried pulling of the connector for the hopper motor to illiminate the motor and the coin counter connector also. I can't think of anything else to try. P/N for the cont. bd. is AS-3356-171A.

Maybe your main power supply behind the coin hopper is failing. Maybe the commutator of the hopper motor is shorted out.

I did try a new power supply recently and I also tried another hopper control board. If I connect an 18-volt supply to my motor is spins and turns the hopper wheel. Can you tell me how many ohms I should have on my hopper motor? Also pushing the test buttons FWD & REV I get no action.

Carefully disassemble the hopper motor. Clean the carbon dust buildup from between the copper commutator segments on the armature with a razor blade.
