Universal Machine - Code 41

Hello All, new to the site and new to slot machines and appreciate any advise. I recently got a 1996 Universal Magnificent 7's machine, supposedly worked when they stored it. There were several things wrong if the machine that was I was able to fix with the help of everyone here! Currently I am stuck with a 41 code. So what is happening, I insert 3 coins, I am able to pull handle, but the reels will not spin and I get the 41 code. Here is what I have done so far:
-Cleared RAM
-Swapped Reel 1 and Reel 2 connector (same 41 code)
-Pulled main board, inspected, and to me everything looks ok. I do not see corrosion...I did find two coins in the board housing.
-Cleared Ram after reinserting the main board (same 41 code)

I have not inspected the reel optic sensors yet and will also inspect and clean all connectors. There are small circuit boards on each reel motor (I assume) that look like they may have some corrosion. I will send more pics when I can. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey Jat,

The reels run off of two voltages, 5vdc and 32vdc. The 32v spins the reels and the 5v holds them. If the reels aren't making any attempt to rotate when you push the Max bet button or pull the handle then I would check the power supply 32v fuse F6, should be a 3a amp fuse.

Normally when the machine power is turned on the coin divertor on the door will pop to the closed position, it uses the 32vdc. 

On the front of the power supply is a 12 pin Molex plug. The 32vdc is measured from the violet wire to one of the black ground wires.

If 32vdc is present try testing the reels. With the door open press the green TEST SWITCH one time, that should show a one in the "COINS PLAYED" LED. The reels should start to spin.

Thanks for the reply! So I checked the fuse, it is good, and I checked voltage on the 12 pin connector...it measured 34.1 vdc. When I ran the test, I pushed the test switch one time, it gave a credit and I pushed the spin button. It makes the sound of the reels spinning but the reels don't move and gives the 41 code.

I am wondering since the reel spinning sounds works and when I swapped reel 1 and reel 2 connectors, it still gave a 41 code...could there be a bad connection where the board inserts into the back wall? Also, I guess I need to look at the schematic and check voltage at the reel connections?

Probably lost the 32v to the reels. Check the outputs (collectors) of transistors Q44, Q45, Q46 for 32v when the play button is pushed.

Also check the traces on the CPU board, all three transistor emitters use the same 32v source back to the edge connector.  I've seen traces get fried near the edge connector as well.
