A couple questions. I have 2 machines that use the 3902 MPU. An IGame Hexbreaker multidenom, BV, printer. And a GameKing bartop Multidenom, BV, printer. Have installed TITO in both. Both machines came with tickets from original casinos they were from. Older slightly discolored with logo's on backside. Tickets feed and cycle and print no problems. The print quality is a bit lacking, some fading lines and what I'm guessing is due to the age of the paper. The GameKing BV took all but new $100.00 bills, don't think it was ever able to take tickets as it doesn't say accepts tickets on it. The IGame takes all bills and would occasionally take a ticket it printed, usually after many attempts. I could pull the ones it did take out of cash box and try them again and get same high rejection rate. Took it an hour ago, not now, but will still take bills. Cleaned BV optics, mag sensors yada yada, no difference. Tried new tickets from vendor here, two packs of them, they will not load in either printer, seems like they are slicker than older tickets. Tries to load but ticket stops moving properly and quits giving paper error. Like the transport can't grab the paper. It pulls it in then slips and faults. Old ticket paper loads fine. So I cannot compare print quality as I cannot get new tickets to load.
So, I'm thinking BV is picky or old or whatever. I buy a BV that is "Updated" takes all bills and should take tickets just fine. Takes bills, and same problem with tickets. Transport is noticeably slower than original BV but like I said takes bills fine. Put the old BV in GameKing and it takes all bills now like the other machine, but not tickets, which is fine as now I can at least put new $100's in it.
Long winded, I know. So to eliminate ticket quality I need a "Known good ticket" to try in my BV and see if I get different results. I'm pretty sure it's not a setting problem as it has taken tickets.
What do you think is possibly the issue?
Thanks, Mike
