PGIC, Mikohn, or eGads sign / meter Need Info Manuals Protocol

I bought two ad0203lm-19 progressive gaming led display / meters
I quickly found out that manufactures will not talk to me, (without a gaming lic. and some $$$).
the info i have from them is:
model number for both is ad 0203im-19
it might be a mikohn led display / meter 1 has a sticker that says Progressive gaming international corp.
after opening it  i found 1 has a sakura ind ltd display processor board 2 has a neurizon industries ltd board they look the same.
one board had a mik 341-077-50-8 sticker on it
the led board uses tlc5921 chips to run the leds.


I am looking for general info, manuals, protocol's, software, how to's
I am interested in using them just as led signs for special ham radio events.

Here is what I have found out so far: these are the Elite Series Meters
ad0203im means ad=?Advanced Display 0203=2 displays long x 3 displays tall (01 must = 16 tall by 40 wide dots) im=In Machine display
because its in machine it uses 3mm leds spaced 4mm center to center.
it wont respond to a strait rs232 cable so i am going to make and try the cable with the 1-5 jumper on the sign end.
the OX number on the sticker on the back is the Ethernet mac address one of mine shows up at x.x.x.200 but i could not find a open port to log into.
mostly the manual talks about using the remote to program it, but on the led display board there is a debug port, i am going to try to capture that as i probe it and see what it will tell me.
The software to program it (according to tacman's posts) is point and shoot and build lfs if any one has these it would be very helpful (i did not see them in the file system) after i know how it works ill try to make a windows7 version of the software in .net vb
