SAVP no sync message

I just got this avp slot machine and I'm trying to get it working. All I get when I powered it on, on the screen below the reels is the message no sync. I have tried everything I could think of.  I made sure all the wires were connected. I even switched out brain boxes. I have an AVP 3 brain box. The brain box is getting power and the ribbon cable that is connected from the backplane board to the brainbox seems to be communicating to the backplane board. I see blinking lights when the ribbon cable is connected from where it plugs in on the backplane.  All that I'm getting so far is the reels spinning slowly and no video. Only a no sync message. Any idea what I should try?

Do I need these EPROMs? One is missing from the com board, and one from the brainbox 3.0. See pics

Yes, this is where your Boot Proms 1 & 2 go, the versions will be dependent on the version of Brain Box you have 2.0, 2.5 or 3.0

would that be why I get no Video at all? I guess I'll have to see if any members have the boot proms 1 and 2 for the 3.0 brainbox then.

Yeah the missing boot chips are definitely the root of your problem with the box booting up.  We have plenty here, just give me a call in the morning. 214-283-6353.  Now for the bad news.  Since we have no way to tell what version of boots you had, there is a high chance you won't get the exact same version which will cause issues with the install of the OS and Game.  You may have to load a new OS and reinstall the game.  We have a tough time getting the installers from the casino when we buy those but with some luck maybe you or I will have the correct installers.  I'll talk to you in the morning.
