Denomination Question

I am buying a 044 6.3 Game King machine that will have both a $0.05 hopper and a TITO printer.  I have a couple questions regarding denominations with this setup:


#1  Will it even let me set a $0.01 denomination option with the hopper enabled since the hopper is $0.05?


#2  If it will, how would it handle payouts?  Is the software smart enough to cash out using the TITO instead of the hopper if the credit cash total isn't a multiple of $0.05?

The machine has no way of knowing what the value of the coin is.  Whatever you set the base denomination to, it will assume the coins are that.  So if you set your base denomination to $100, it will give you $100 in credits whenever you drop a nickel into the machine.  Similarly, when it pays out, it will pay a nickel for every $100 you have in credits.  When you have TITO enabled, your hopper limit will determine how many coins are dispensed, after that it will print a ticket.  Also whatever fractional credits you have, it will pay as a ticket, for example, if you set your base denom to $100, and you have $150 in credits and your hopper limit is $1,0000.00, it will pay one coin and print a ticket for $50.
