IGT GAME KING MONITOR PROBEM

I HAVE A IGT GAME KING 044 WITH A MONITOR PROBLEM. IT'S A LCD 17". WHEN I TURN THE MACHINE ON THE MONITOR WILL NOT COME ON & AFTER MAYBE A COUPLE HOURS IT WILL FINALLY COME ON & WORKS FINE UNTIL I SHUT IT OFF FOR A WHILE & THEN SAME THING. IT'S A LCD

If the the buttons light up machine plays with out monitor on it's the monitor. If not it's probably your power supply.

I would guess you need to recap the monitor power supply

does your monitor use an internal or external power supply ?

Often intermittent problems like that are due to a bad connection somewhere in the circuitry.  Because metal expands/contracts with temperature variations the connection is intermittent -- which could explain why it comes on after a couple hours, after it has time to heat up.  I would closely look at all the solder points with a magnifying glass and re-solder any connections that look questionable.
