can   any one tell me   what  the 1793 ceronix  video chassis board do because my monitor is not working
there's a another box that  mounts to the side of  inside monitor    I here noises coming out of it

hi, the box is an isolation transformer used to supply 120V ac to the circuit of the monitor, first of all, check voltage output you should have about 110-120 V ac, let me know

I here chirping noise   if the fly back  coil  stops working  will that cause  the monitor to stop as well

if the ignition in a car if the coil stops  it cant fire the plugs
is it some thing like that   I don't know to much about this stuff

I found out my power supply  blew a cap  that's why  my lights aren't working now I have to buy a new power supply
maybe this could be  the cause  of my monitor not working  maybe then I could be wrong

Then, replace the cap,maybe your monitor is starting up but you just can't see picture because there's no video signal from the mainboard cause by blown cap. to be sure that your monitor is working or not, disconnect all boards supplied by the isolation transformer,,when you power on you will hear the flyback chirping once, and when you increase the screen adjustment onto the flyback, you'll see like white fog screen with horizontal lines,, that means your monitor is working.

if I do  replace the  replayed  the blown cap  if I hat adjust the fly back how would I get to it the unit is in the machine  how many turns  does it take for it to get power
