wms bluebird credits per line setup

I just purchased a WMS 5 reel China Moon machine.  It is a 25 line plus feature.  The feature seems to add 15 credits.  I need help to set the credits per line as 1 per line plus feature plays the proper 40 credits.  2 per line plays right but 3 per line plays 5 per line.  The really surprise was when I played 5 per line and it played 50 lines and 8 per line played 100 lines or $40.00.  Ate a $100.00 ticket real quick.  Seller said it was probably set by the casino.  Don't think that would be legal but I sure would not want to play there.  Could this be reset with the game setup or another setup procedure?  Thanks for any help.

If you clear the credits on the machine, you can re-do the max bet settings to match your button legends.  It should be under the menu game setup under bet options.  Set your max bet to match your button legends (looks like it would be a mex bet of 25 lines + 15 feature bet x 5 credits per line =200 max bet).  The extra bet adds 15 credits per line bet.  So if you play 1 credit per line, you it will add 15 credits, play 5 credits per line and it will add 75 credits to the bet.  The number of lines do not change in the betting process, just the credits bet per line.  When you did your max bet, it was probably betting 100 per line at 40 credits per line (25 + 15 for the feature bet)
