Smells like smoke!!

Got this gem in with a batch of machines today. Gave it a quick once over, new batt. inspection & so on. Powered it up, the reels shook a little followed by the distinct smell of smoke :burningresistor:   . Removed the board,turned it on, no more smoke. So I did what any over-anxious slothead would do, put the board back in, turned it on & looked for where the smoke is coming from, could not pinpoint it. So I turned on the fan  :shitfan: to clear the aroma & proceeded to search for anything burnt or discolored. No luck so far, guess I'll pull the motherboard & see if theres a coin under it. :stirthepot:

I think that's a good start. I've seen fluorescent starters smoke too. Keep us posted.  BTW good looking machine. I've always liked T/D.

Found the culprit, C10 on the mpu is toast. Any idea what C10 is for?
