Button lights replacement procedure

I feel like an idiot.  I wanted to replace a burned out light in an s2000 machine, and I don't see how to get to the bulb to replace it.  I can reach it OK, I just don't  know how to get the micros witch and the plastic holder out to get to the bulb.  Can someone please put me out of my misery and tell me how?

Pull down on the bulb socket holder that also holds the micro switch. Just don't rock it back and forth to much when removing or the button housing could break.

Thanks!  I tugged on that socket, but it didn't seem to move, and I didn't want to break it.  I thought there might be something you press in that I couldn't see.  I'll  just pull a bit harder without rocking it.  Thanks.

If you have a small paring knife, you can pop the lens cap off from the top.  Then take some small needle nose pliers and pull the bulb out from the top.  Careful not to squeeze on the bulb too hard and break it.  LEDs are much easier to work with pulling them out of the sockets.

Some player buttons twist off, other you have to pry off.  Usually the pry off types, I just pull the white part of the switch to one side until it snaps off.  But try twisting it one way or the other first, just in case you have the easier twist off types.

I finally got the button apart.  Tried twisting it, the whole mechanism moved, so went with the older style idea.  Had to pull really hard.  I guess that years of being seated got it wedged very tight.  Replaced bulb, everything is normal again.  Thanks for all the great advice.
